Desk & Park vs Skedda: self-serve setup vs an implementation
Both charge per space. Desk & Park is set up by one admin in 60–90 minutes; Skedda publishes no implementation timeline. Pricing, QR check-in, parking compared.

Desk & Park and Skedda both price per space rather than per user, so the difference is not the pricing model but what comes before the first booking. Desk & Park is set up by one administrator in 60–90 minutes for one office, self-serve, from a plan image and an employee list, with no onboarding call. Skedda publishes no implementation timeline; its plans start at 99 USD per month in EMEA and APAC and 249 USD per month in the United States and Canada (skedda.com, October 2026), with visitor management as a paid add-on.

Setup time is a cost line
An implementation is paid twice: once to the vendor, once in the hours of the people who attend the workshops. Desk & Park removes the second cost by design: the onboarding guide is six screens of the real product, each done by the same admin, and the first employee booking happens the same day. A second office is another plan image, not another project.
Skedda is a mature product with a long history in space scheduling, and for a complex multi-site estate with custom booking rules a guided implementation can be the right choice. If that is what you need, it is worth asking Skedda for the timeline and the professional-services price in writing, because neither is published.
QR check-in and ghost bookings
In Desk & Park every desk and parking spot has a printed QR sticker. A booking is checked in by scanning it from the phone browser within a window from 60 minutes before to 60 minutes after the start; a booking not checked in is released automatically and the space returns to the pool. The same scan on a free space books it to the end of the day in one step. This is the mechanism that recovers the capacity blocked by ghost bookings; no sensor or gate is involved.
Parking and EV chargers
Parking spots in Desk & Park are objects on a parking map with the same booking, check-in and release rules as desks; EV charger spots are marked as such on the map and show up in the analytics as EV charging demand. The parking management guide describes the model. Skedda can treat a parking spot as a bookable space; the parking-specific behaviour (released executive spots, charger marking, parking utilisation in reports) is where to compare in a demo.
Data isolation
Each Desk & Park organisation has its own PostgreSQL database, with per-organisation backup, restore and erasure. Skedda does not publish its tenancy model. A security questionnaire should ask both vendors the same question: is my data in its own database or in shared tables?
Where Skedda is the better fit

Where Desk & Park is the better fit
An office or a handful of offices that need desks, parking and rooms booked on one map this week, by one admin, with QR check-in and automatic release, at a flat per-space price that starts at zero. See the pricing.
FAQ
Are Desk & Park and Skedda priced the same way?
Both price per space, not per user. Desk & Park has one price list (Start 0 USD, Standard 128 USD, Pro 230 USD net per month, for 10, 75 and 125 spaces) billed in PLN, EUR or USD. Skedda publishes separate price lists, from 99 USD per month for EMEA and APAC and from 249 USD per month for the United States and Canada, as of October 2026.
How long does Desk & Park take to set up compared with Skedda?
Desk & Park quotes 60–90 minutes for one office, done by one administrator in six self-serve steps with no onboarding call. Skedda does not publish an implementation timeline; ask for it and for any professional-services fee in writing.
Does Desk & Park include visitor handling?
Executive assistants and administrators can book desks and parking spots for external guests on every plan: the seat is held for the whole window, nobody has to check in, and reports count it as a guest, not a person. A separate visitor-registration module exists as well.
Can both products handle parking?
Both can make a parking spot bookable. Desk & Park additionally marks EV charger spots on the map, lets a permanently assigned spot be released for a day ("I'm away today"), releases spots that are not checked in by QR, and reports parking utilisation and EV demand separately.
